Victoria Classics was founded over 25 years ago in Brooklyn, New York. Beginning as a specialty home textile retailer. Today our business is completely wholesale, as we operate as a major importer of high quality home textiles in the United States.
Our sustainability initiatives began at our Edison facilities, where we have tracked and reported on energy, waste, and water use for the past three years. We've also reached out to our key suppliers, arranging to provide energy and water audits that identify opportunities to reduce upstream environmental impacts.
We work closely with our customers to address their sustainability concerns, and work with an external sustainability consultancy to ensure that we are implementing best-in-class solutions, such as carbon accounting software.
If you have questions about our sustainability program, please contact Rajat Nagalia at Rajat@victoriaclassics.com.

Victoria Classics gives back to the community in many different
charitable ways. The company has set up a charitable foundation.
We donate money for schools, health organizations,
cancer research centers, community centers, etc.
As young adults, we started working at a retail store in Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn New York. Our job was mainly in the stock room of a store that sold items for the home.
We worked our way up, from the back room to the store floor in 1983, gaining the opportunity to interact with the customer and cater to their needs. By 1986 we climbed another step and became store managers. The experience for us was amazing; we knew the retail business from every single aspect due to the fact that we started at the bottom.
Within time and hard work we had enough money to purchase the store from the owner, as we took over, we quickly expanded to a 6 store operation. The passion for the business was a fire growing from within.
A thirst for design and innovation pushed us to travel to Europe, during our trips we purchase merchandise from Spain, France, Portugal and Italy. Our customers showed to be hungry for new and fresh looks so the merchandise we purchased did not last long in the stores.
We understood that we had an idea and that the need for new product was tangible, taking advantage of this and due to the overwhelming response we decided in 1987 to become Textiles from Europe, an import company that will expand their business by not only selling goods to the mom’s & pap’s stores but also expanded to supply merchandise to the retail stores not only in the New York area but also to other states.
We brought value, newness, fresh design that was appealing to the customer. And the customer always came back for more.
By mid-90’s we concentrated a hundred percent on the manufacturing part of the business, saying good bye to our beloved retail stores.
In the year 2000, Europe was becoming too expensive to manufacture and we needed to keep the value that we always offered our customers and still be able to have innovating designs, so we gradually made the change and became Victoria Classics, importing form different countries to accommodate value, cost, fashion and newness. We kept on growing year after year to what we have become today.
is a design at a great price, being able to diversify in different categories with in home textiles, covering every aspect and in some cases cross match the story of a design.
a group of very talented people that treat this business as their own, they are not only the engine that moves this company but also share the same passion, and ultimately bring the idea to life.
is the shift from one generation to the next, learning and continuing to grow as the internet era and accessibility to anything is at the tip of your fingers, to be the leader in design and value, always hungry for new ideas and studying the market as well as the consumer so it will enable us to offer a great product.
Toby and Joe Cohen had been working for many years as owners of a small home textile retail chain in the New York area. They both had a dream of bringing fresh, trendy products at value prices directly to the consumer. This dream had become a reality as a multi-million dollar company with hundreds of employees worldwide.
After many years of building their Import business, they have become one of the largest privately owned Home Textile Companies in the United States.
They could not have accomplished this by themselves. The people who make up Victoria Classics are partners in making their dream come true.
We look to hire Visionaries who are creative and entrepreneurial in their approach to handling tasks and challenges. A snapshot of a Victoria Classics employee would be of someone who has passion for their job, a love of fashion, ability to work in a fast paced environment.
We offer a work environment where individuals are
challenged on a daily basis to think and be creative.
The overall atmosphere of the Company
is entrepreneurship.
